CSUG is an initiative meant to take Nigerian celebrities irrespective of their disciplines or fields (Actors/Actresses, Entrepreneurs, Comedians, Politicians, Business men/women, Musicians, Professionals etc) back to their secondary or primary schools with the sole aim of giving back to the schools in terms of donations of materials, equipments, building classrooms/laboratories, buying of exercises books, paying up school fees of indigent students, repairing or renovating the schools and so many other endeavours. This is to show appreciation to the schools that they have passed through before becoming an important person and impact meaningfully on the lives of students today and the educational sector as a whole.

The donations are voluntary and contributions by celebrities no matter how small it may look like, is to partner, aid and support Government's effort at investing in our educational sector. It is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative of giving back to the society. The Unique Selling Point (USP) of the initiative is that such celebrity will attend the school in a SCHOOL UNIFORM as a way of showing solidarity with the students and to add psychology booster to them.

The schedule according to Mr. Olawale Balogun, the Managing Director of Ballywalls Integrated is that Doris Simeon Ademinokan will be going to her alma-matar Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School, Maryland come Tuesday July 10th, 2012 by 10.00am while others will follow suit after the Nollywood diva's edition.

According to Doris Simeon Ademinokan, she said “I am highly delighted to be part of this laudable initiative to give back to my secondary school, Maryland Comprehensive; I am already having a nostalgic feeling of going back there. However, the fact that I will be in my school uniform to mentor students and add value to their lives by inspiring them is enough for me and I am looking forward to this” the Face of RIBENA averred.

The Government cannot do it alone, hence, I will be mobilizing some of my old classmates who are well placed, so that we can collective do something very tangible to Methodist Primary School as a way of re-union and stretching our arms of fellowship to the school we all graduated years back. I can't wait to wear my school uniform though”, the CHIVITA Ambassador concluded.
