The producers of a new family soap series titled “TWO SIDES OF A COIN” has again added another giant stride to their already attractive and growing accolades by the licensing of the soap as a one of the new programmes on the newly improved African Magic Entertainment Channel 114. The first season of the soap series now shows on Mondays at a peak time of 7.00pm.

The Executive Producer, Mr. Oluseyi Moscow Adebanjo in his remarks said “ well, that it's just the beginning, if you have a quality piece of work, it will sell itself and that is what “Two Sides of a Coin” is doing now and we thank God for that. As it is, we are equally expanding outside the shores of the continent, as they are more demands for it in Africa Channels in US, Europe and the Caribbean”, he averred.

It would be recalled that some weeks ago, the World Premiere of “Two Sides of a Coin” was held amidst pomp and pageantry at the Balmoral Hall, Oregun, the new family series which has created a lot of buzz since its debut on STV Network some weeks ago (Monday 8.30pm), TVC (Sunday 8.30pm) and twenty six other stations across the nation.

“Two Sides of a Coin” is an unusual family drama with unusual stars. It portrays the everyday reality with families of different backgrounds and how they relate to it. The story centred around two families of unique backgrounds and how love became a stumbling block into what brings them together. The Benson's family is a wealthy aristocratic Nigerian family who employs the Okafors family as their driver and cook, and they equally live in their quarters.

Mr. Okafor played by Tony Akposere a.k.a Zaaki of the New Masquerade fame happens to be the driver who's not contented with his societal level and tries to skim his employers of their wealth, disregarding his own family in the process. Dr. Benson is a British trained medical doctor played by legendary actor “Akin Lewis” who happens to be a Philanthropist and owner of health field hospital, but he can't stand his daughter been involved with his driver's son. But their fear soon became reality and their children sink into love and that threatens peace between the two families.

Some of the unique casts are: legendary actor Akin Lewis played “Dr. Benson”, Zaaki of the popular but rested New Masquerade in person of Tony Akposere was “Mr. Okafor”, New York stage actress, Felicia Henderson interpreted the role of “Mrs. Benson”. The series equally has fast rising actor Felix Omoh as “Eche Okafor”, while Aderonke Shittu ((Winner Miss Orekelewa) acted “Ronke Benson”, Sunkanmi Ogunade (Face of Chivita) was “Jimi Benson”, Dora Osiegbe played out the roles of “Ngozi Okafor”. Another veteran on and behind the set was Mr. Victory Emuejekarohwo. Joy Nice (Tinsel actress) and Victor Okenwa (the new Face of Delto Soap) were “Nkem Okafor” and “Chinedu Okafor” respectively.

It had guests and celebrity appearances on the soap from a leading rap artiste, Cartiar, Nigerian leading comedian Owen Gee, a successful PR/artiste Manager, Tony Payne, Gulder Ultimate Search winner, Kunle Oluwaremi, Soundcity Ambassador/Presenter Adams Ibrahim Adebola and an AMA Award Winner Nollywood screen diva, Doris Simeon Ademinokan . It was directed by Daniel Ademinokan and Damijo Efe Young.
