Top Yoruba actor and Glo ambassador, Odunlade Adekola was a victim of a mistaken identity in a hotel in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to gist relayed to Nollywoodgists.com by an eyewitness account, Odun, as he is also called, was left highly embarrassed after the incident, which happened some months ago.
Odun was said to have worn a white shirt on a black trousers, same as the hotel attendants do when the incident occurred. The name of the hotel was given as Adesba Hotel in Abeokuta.
Trouble started for Odunlade when a man who lodged in the hotel, not knowing who the Abeokuta based actor was, requested the actor to hand over keys to his paid hotel room to him, thinking Odunlade was just a hotel attendant.
We learnt that Odun was highly embarrassed and then confronted the man, which almost degenerated into a physical fight until one of the hotel staffs mediated into the argument and then told the man that Odunlade was a movie star.
We further gathered that Odunlade was later begged by the hotel management for the embarrassment caused him.
Hmm, Odun, I will keep a sealed lips for now, but maybe your dress equalled what the hotel staffs wear.
