GOV. MIMIKO REPLACES SAIDI BALOGUN'S STOLEN CAR WITH TOYOTA CAMRY AS BIRTHDAY PRESENT

This is definitely the best of times for star actor Saidi Balogun.

We gathered from an industry source that the humble thespian was presented with a car gift,a 2011 Toyota Camry,on his birthday by Ondo State governor,Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.

This, we were told, was in appreciation of the actor's role in the ongoing activities marking the third anniversary of the governor's administration.

The talented movie maker,we leant,has been in Akure,Ondo state for close to a month now alongside other entertainers including Funsho Adeolu,Yemi My Lover,Bimbo Oshin,Lord of Ajasa,Ara, Princess Adetunwo and others on the invitation of the governor.

The man at the helm of affairs of the Sunshine State, we were told,was wooed by Saidi Balogun's proven versatility but was dumbfounded when he was hinted that the top Nollywood star,who lost his Toyota Camry to armed robbers about two years ago,is still jumping okada and riding taxi.

He therefore, ordered that the star actor should be given a Toyota Camry 2011 model.
