I was just thinking about something, and, thought that I might share it...

Most of the men I have come into contact with always bring up the fact that behind every good man there is a woman or women.... Nice to hear, for sure, but, I was wondering why I have never heard a woman say that behind every good woman is a man?

In fact, what I hear the most is that women feel that they do not need a man to be successful in life. Which is fine, we shouldn't need a man to progress. Still, more likely than not, there is a man or two behind the woman; and, if there isn't now, there have been definite male role models at play, which made part of the woman you are now, and, it is likely that you are looking for the man to stand behind, and beside the woman...

I am just curious about how different we perceive such things. A man perhaps needs a woman in order to excel and a woman doesn't? Can someone explain this to me?

Perhaps it is that a woman does so much for the man that he can go out and make something of himself, and, we propel ourselves AFTER we propel him? That would make sense of it, to some degree.
We do not need much more from our men than love, support, caring, sharing, and, some romance. They rely on us for a multitude of resources... Am I getting closer to the truth here?

I have never in my life thought of telling someone that behind me there was a good man; never occurred to me. Still, I hear men say all the time that there is a woman behind the man...

As I said, I was just thinking and wanted to share and get some feedback on this, so that I can understand the difference here. I would really appreciate your thoughts here, I am really perplexed...
