The human body has amazing built-in systems that are designed to support the natural repair and rebuilding processes that are needed to maintain health. There are millions of processes that are occurring simultaneously, without any conscious thought required on your part. The Miracle of the Human Body

At any given moment, your heart is pumping 2,000 gallons of blood per day through your body, your lungs are inflating to bring in fresh oxygen and deflating to expel carbon dioxide, and all of the other major organs are doing their part within this amazing system. When something is injured or not working correctly, the body immediately responds and the natural immune functions kick in to repair the problem.

For example, if you cut your finger, then blood rushes to the area to cleanse the wound. Then, a scab is formed to protect the injured area while the cells below are working to knit the skin back together once again. The cells multiply and grow as needed to regrow the tissue that is required.

This process of cell replication occurs everywhere within the body, and these natural functions are working to get rid of the old, damaged cells and replace them with newer, healthy cells. Self-healing is an inherent part of the human experience. Cancer Cells Forming within the Body

If healing is such a natural aspect of the human body, why do cancer cells start to grow out of control? There are about 73 trillion cells within your body, and on a given day it is estimated that 400 billion of those cells are replaced.

When this cell replacement is occurring, it is possible for cells to malfunction and become rogue. The immune system is constantly working to remove these cell mutations, but there are certain lifestyle factors that speed up the development of the cell mutations and slow down the immune system's ability to handle these problems. Lifestyle Factors that Contribute to the Development of Cancer

There are a number of lifestyle factors that can contribute to the development of cancer cells. For example, toxic chemicals in household products, food, and cleaners can increase the likelihood that your cells will begin to mutate, and the immune system might have a hard time keeping up with those mutations.

A number of research studies have shown a direct link between a person's diet and their development of cancer. If you want to prevent or heal from cancer, then you need to make changes to your dietary habits to clean up your meals.
