Personality Profiles TedXAccra Speakers; Meet David Kwaku Sakyi
MAR 3, 2015 LISTEN

If there is anything to live for, it's eternity. To have your image hung in the hall of fame of life is man's greatest achievement and there is a frame for every portrait. The Archivist positions us on our how we live up to our individual curriculums; so let me ask you, do you know your curriculum? How best have you managed your time so far? Has the world benefited from your existence? In the hustle and bustle of this world where every blink counts, what image have you captured for yourself? Remember, you are your first project work so let's get started; meet David Kwaku Sakyi, your personal assistant for life.

On the expedition of self, David found the need to empower people, build capacity, character, clarity and confidence. He owns an impeccable reputation, which is made evident with his breakfast show on X FM. He has also graced the platform of seminars held by the National Union of Ghanaian Students (NUGS) and the Rotary club (Labadi Beach hotel branch). He is a regular speaker at various BarCamps including the Ashesi and Kasoa sessions. In any case, watch out for Kwaku David's life symposiums for students and corporates soon.

Why you should listen to his talk:

I believe in fundamental principles that govern the universe and therefore our continents, countries and communities. Africa has struggled so far to emerge from the doldrums of the technological dark ages, simply because of basic negative traits. 3 of these traits are

1.Greed
2.Injustice
3.Dishonesty

In the Next Chapter of Africa's story a diminishing of these 3 negative traits will allow for advancement in technology and industry on the continent. A diminishing in greed will permit a fairer and more equitable distribution of resources. A diminishing in injustice will permit a fairer dispensing of the law and social amenities. A diminishing in dishonesty will permit a flourishing of truth and an increased tendency to accuracy and precision. This is key for development

Quote from Kwaku:
It's always too soon to give up.
