Praying entails or means reminding God of his promises whether the written promises in the Bible or his spoken promises to you personally or through his servant. Praying means listening to the Holy Spirit's instructions. The Holy Spirit helps us in the place of prayer by generating answerable prayer points and leading us to pray accurately.

Praying includes thanking God that he has already done what you are asking for.

Praying includes asking as you desire.
Praying includes casting your care of the answer on God.

Praying includes speaking the answer, confessing the desired result.

Isaac prayed to God, he did not complain and God heard him.

Complaining includes the following:
Describing the problem to God. You will think some people are really praying when they kneel down, they spend time to cry and shout, but what they are doing is complaining and describing the problem to God.

Repeating what the devil has said, maybe the devil told you that the pain in your body is cancer and you go to God in prayer to utter it. That is not praying.

Putting your opinions to God: In prayer your opinion is not what God hears, he only hears his promises and his word. Don't tell God what you feel, tell him what he has said.

Wondering why the answer has not come: Stop wondering, ask God what you want and believe he has answered, then thank him and keep thanking him until the answer manifests.

Praying generalized, unfocused prayer; be definite in prayer.

Using vain repetitions; continuous crying and shouting of the name of Jesus is not prayer, say what you want.

Praying the same matter again and again.
Trying to pester God to change his mind.
God wants you to come to him in faith.
Prayer: I receive grace and the help of the Holy Spirit to truly pray and not complain in God's presence.
