Father Caught Paedophile Posing As Little Girl

A vigilant dad caught a paedophile by pretending to be his 10-year-old daughter online, Preston, Lancashire, UK.

An unnamed father chatted with a 23-year-old Wayne Corkhill several times via Facebook when a young man started to make compliments and invited “the little girl” to his flat for 'cuddles'.

Luckily he was unaware he was actually messaging the girl's father. The father made it clear his daughter was only 10-years-old but the paedophile continued.

After the father complained to police, the sexual predator pretended his Facebook had been hacked. Later it was discovered that Corkhill was on bail waiting to be sentenced for a string of sex offences when he made contact with the young girl.

He pleaded guilty to five charges of sexual activity with a child, two of meeting a child following sexual grooming and one of attempting to a meet a child following grooming. The pervert was given an extended sentence of six years and seven months in prison.
