Understanding the place of Faith and Hardwork – Proverbs 14:23

In life, career and in the work of the ministry there are three kinds of work you are required to be involved in and the effectiveness with which you do these three levels of work will determine you r success and fulfilment of purpose on the earth.

a)      PRAYER WORK: This is the first kind of work and it is also called KNEE WORK. Here is when you look up to God for direction in the place of prayer. This is where accuracy is born. If you are not effective in your prayer work, Satan will defeat you regardless of whatever else you do. This is the FOUNDATION of lasting success in life, career and ministry. Without a strong prayer base, the enemy will exploit you!

b)      FAITH WORK:  This is the WORK of confession. Here is where lots of people fail. They pray hard, they work hard BUT TALK WRONG. Your mouth is the SIGNPOST of the direction your future is headed. We can pick your destination in your month. If you don't master the faith business every other business you do will not work at the level of God.

c)      HARD WORK: This is LEG WORK. Most people know about the power of hard work and they conclude that their success depends only on their hard work but that is not so for a Christian. Your hard work should issue forth from the grace you have received from God.

Don't be a lazy bone in anything you are involved with. Whatever vision or dream you have must eventually become W. O. R. K. if it is going to bless anyone including yourself. Until your dreams and visions become WORK, they can't take shape or have form!

Don't pray without working and after you have prayed, confess the word of God in order to release the force of divinity on your efforts. Each of these kinds of work has its own role in the overall success of your calling, career and life!

Prayer:   Father, deliver me from every form of laziness; separate me from every tendency and attitude that makes the dreams of God in my life end up short. I purpose in my heart today to embrace diligence and the discipline of word confession daily so help me God.
