When Bryan Remley was caught by a gun-wielding homeowner at 4:30am in their living room, and knew he was possibly facing bodily harm or jail time, he knew he had to come with a quick way to get out of the situation. And what homeowner would turn down an offer for some free lawn care?

Daily Mail  reports that Remley was caught by Joseph Cihak as he was rifling through their living room, looking for valuables.

Cihak, who was carrying his gun, was ready to defend his home. When Cihak caught sight of Remley, he fired two shots, and then held him down as his wife called police.

After a failed attempt to escape, Remley said that if they'd let him go, he'd cut their lawn for free. After all, who  enjoys mowing the lawn?

They declined the offer.
When police arrived, Remley, who was carrying a small knife, was arrested and charged with armed residential burglary and violation of probation, according to the Daily Mail.

Perhaps Remley should stick to his true calling – which just might be lawn care – and take a break from break-ins.
