Accept Him or Her. You can't celebrate somebody you have not accepted. Your spouse can never be like somebody else. Accept what the Lord has given you, celebrate him or her.
Don't remove courtesy. Speak with courtesy, operate with high level of regards, don't insult or abuse your spouse. Treat him or her as a special person.
Respect him or her. Respect your husband (Ephesians 5:33), honour your wife (1 Peter 3:7). Everybody desires to be respected.
Say it. Don't just say, “I love you”, say “I value you”, “I celebrate you”.
Show it. Don't just say it, show it. Welcome him or her in a special way and treat him or her as a special
