Who Should Go With You?

As you move on with God in life, one of the greatest challenges you will have will not be the devil, but wrong people. Wrong people are not necessarily unsaved people; they are simply people that God has not planned for you on your journey in life. The devil will use wrong people to achievewhat he cannot personally do in your life. God is very concerned about the people going with you in life. When Gideon was to fight the Midianites, God instructed him to bring the entire army of Israel to the waters. There, God said, I will show you those that will go with you and those that will not go with you. Dear reader, do you really know the people around you? Do you know what and who they represent? I counsel you today that you bring them to the river of the Holy Spirit and let them be tried, exposed and defined for you.

When Hezekiah the king of Judah was sick and later recovered, the servants of the king of Babylon came to greet him and he did not ask counsel of the Lord to know who they really were. The prophet came to him and asked “what said these men? And from whence came they unto thee?” He never knew he was interacting with future enemies of Judah, the future captors of his seeds and labours. At every point in time in the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ, He knew who should go with Him, He knew the twelve people to choose as His disciples.

You must walk in the Master's wisdom of knowing who should go with you. Let me show you some of those that will want to go with you in life:

Those that feel they need what you have; power, wealth, position e.t.c. They will use you; they have their own focus around if they can't contribute to you.

Those that the devil has assigned to distract you from your focus in God, in life and in destiny. They have negative mission; they'll stick close to you until you derail and fail. They are there to supervise your partaking of error, sin and unwholesome practices and help you feel good doing such, beware!  They are nice but have corrupting effects on your spirit. Cut them off your circle of operation. They add to you physically, but they will rob you spiritually, Beware!

Those that have known your potential, where you are going, your prospect and the likes and want to be well positioned in your life for goodies to drop when you get there.

Who then should you go with you into marriage, business, friendship, ministry and all you do?  THOSE THAT GOD CHOSE FOR YOU! God chose Aaron with Moses. Study the life of Moses to see how God choose men for men for effective living in life and destiny. Don't just select men with your own understanding. Let the Holy Spirit identify men for you as He did for Gideon before they go on with you in life. Continually bring men to the water of the Holy Spirit, let God show you who men really are so that you will not mistake a friend for an enemy and an enemy for a friend. It shall be well with you in Jesus' name.

Prayer: Lord, deliver my life from every infestation of wrong people and show me my God-chosen people in Jesus' name.
