The night before our big day, we had spoken with one another over the telephone almost the whole night. We missed each other so much! On our big day, I got a much different phone call from a cousin, she was hysterically crying that the church decorations were not ready and there seem to be so many little things that went wrong. When I arrived at the church, I had enough distractions and only wanted to hold my honey. I demanded enough! I was ready to marry my best friend. Well, at this moment my mother-in-law informed me that my knight in shining armor had not yet arrived. So many emotions crossed my mind, it was a short delay, but felt like several hours later, I was still waiting. Apparently, there was a problem with his and best man's tuxedo.

Finally he arrived to church, as the doors swung open, my handsome prince stood there with the biggest smile of pride on his face. I could not stop the flood of emotions from streaming down my face. We were so excited. The four part singing group, The Sons of Soul serenaded us with “You and I” by Stevie Wonder. A beautiful song that now lives in our hearts.

At that moment nothing mattered, the decorations, the delay, who was present and who was not. I walked past the crowd of onlookers, sighing and gasping. I could hear them sigh in approval of our special moment. When we touched, electricity poured out of him and into me and into him from out of me. It was by the far one of the most memorable moments in our entire life.
