AN OPEN DOOR FOR MIRACLES

“We have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand” Romans 5:2.

When people came to Jesus and asked, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent” (John 6:28-29). All through the Bible, every time something awesome and miraculous happened, each time a life was touched, someone was acting on his or her faith. Someone was trusting God enough to act on what He said and open the door.

That's what happened to me the day I made Jesus my Lord. I read Matthew 6:26 and found out that God cares even for birds- and faith burst into my heart. I didn't know the first thing about becoming a Christian. Yet when I spoke that faith out- that I believed in Him- I opened the door just a crack and God's mercy and love flooded my heart and changed me forever.

It's still true today. However wide you open the door of faith is how much of God's mercy and goodness will flow into your life. I'm telling you, He's ready. He wants to do great things in your life. He wants to give you all the benefits of salvation.

When I say salvation, I'm not just talking about a ticket to heaven. Salvation means freedom. It is freedom from depression, poverty, sickness, danger, fear- anything you need freedom from!

Salvation also means “soundness, protection, liberty, health and restoration”.

Psalm 68:19, NKJV says, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation!” when you wake up in the morning, you can start thanking God for the salvation that's going to happen today.

Start each day by opening the door of faith. Don't just open it a crack- rip it off the hinges!
