1.​  See your own part of it: -Never lay the blame on your spouse or exonerate yourself. It takes two to tango.

2.​  Take responsibility for the state of your home.

3.​  Listen to your Partner:  Let your partner talk freely, let him or her talk without intimidation, just listen.

4.​  Respond positively:  No defense, no threat and no game-playing. Respond in love.

5.​  Look for a win-win situation: Never turn it to a contest; you are not in an Olympic Game. No matter how you resolve the issue, make it a no-victor- no-vanquished situation.

6.​    No Retaliation:  Seek to reconcile and re-connect, never revenge; if you revenge you equalize, if you forgive you win.

7.​   Put your own Need aside:  Meet the needs of your spouse, be selfless.

8.​   Keep on talking:  If you disagree, keep on talking in love; NEVER abandon it until you are able to resolve it.

9.​   Pray:  No matter the level of your disagreement; dare to pray together. Let the Lord set in, He can still all storms.
