The Two Sides Of Life

Touch Of Thoughts The Two Sides Of Life
MAY 14, 2014 LISTEN

Heaven and hell, credit and debt, life and death; height and depth, health and illness not to forget success and failure are the diverse variables that constitute the two sides of life.

Batteries have both positive and negative sides and of course in electrolysis, the negative side attracts positive ions, the cations and the positive side attracts negative ions – the anions. The neighbour of day or daylight is night or darkness.

No hard and fast rule in life, to this end if the moon, the notorious pirate decides to duplicate the light of the sun then those nights of 'mass production' would be blessed with light and hence mimics daytime the way parrot, the linguist and public speaker of animals, mimics man.

The other side of bitterness is sweetness; conversely, the other side of sweetness is bitterness. Drugs are bitter but they remember to buy us health while on their various trips in our bodies. They're very caring because they usually buy us the best gift available! Health is so sweet in fact, it's sweeter than honey.

Exercise is not easy but it's an antidote, the best friend of our health. Sugar, salt, fat and cholesterol are sweet but their other sides are bitter for they could directly or indirectly set off ill-health. Egg yolk is sweeter than egg-white because cholesterol is sweet; similarly soda is sweeter than water because sugar is tasty?

Moderacy is the salt of life!
Sex is pleasurable but when done recklessly: at the wrong time, with the wrong person and the wrong mode, it could precipitate bitterness – Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), betrayal, separation, jilt, shame, guilt, stigma, regret, divorce ….

Sleep is sweet but its neighbour is bitter. You already know what excess of it could do to your financial, spiritual, social and intellectual life.

If you're embittered at the moment, believe me your joy is on its way! The phenomenon of head and tail of the coin, the Siamese twins of our time is true and real in life. All you need do is be hopeful, prayerful but not fearful! We grow, develop and evolve in pains (negative stimuli) because we become wiser, better, stronger, 'tougher' (the gains of the pains) most times in pressures not pleasures.

Challenges are meant to enhance and induce our positive change. They take us down to go up and of course the way up is down.

All my life, I've never met someone who doesn't have the potential to be great.

Beyond life these laws are still relevant because heaven is the home of bliss and peace and hell is the abode of doom and gloom.

Your star is in they sky, please look up; you will see it!

Keep enjoying your week!
