Wa, Sept 2, GNA - The Daffiama-Bussie-Issa constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has elected Mr. Poulabong Bayiilela Rachard as its chairman.
He polled 112 votes to beat Alhaji Salia Mahama who had 53, Mr. Francis Toglayeng, 25 votes and Philip Boye, nine votes.
The Vice Chairman position went to Samba Musah, who polled 132 votes and Mr Warisu Yendor who had 65 votes.
Mr. Ansongmene Konogui Emmanuel took the Secretary position with 107 votes as against Mr. Wor James who obtained 46 votes and Mr. Seidu Sessay Muniru, 45 votes.
Mr. Kantubogi Titus had 101 votes to become the Vice Secretary beating Mr. Dilor Dookurong Isaiah and Mr. Anmwierenjeng Desmond who obtained 50 and 45 votes respectively.
The Organiser position was won by Mr. Ballans Justine with 94 votes to beat Mr. Baadia Latif who polled 68 votes and Mr. Liepoga Raymond had 37 votes.
The Treasurer post went to Mr. Mashoodi Naakuolo who won with 146 votes as against Mr. Kuuyaara Thomas who also polled 51 votes.
Mr. Normah Danaaleh David polled 110 votes to become the Propaganda Secretary defeating Mr. Maga Abraham who received 85 votes.
The Youth Organiser is Mr. Demepkeh Tampuori Desmond who obtained 22 votes with Mr. Tabiasi-Naa Sumaila gaining 12 votes and Mr. Baani Mumuni Seidu, 10 votes.
The Deputy Youth Organiser post was won by Mr. Mumeenn Adaari with 25 votes defeating Mr. Kassim Alhassan who polled 19 votes.
Madam Nashiru Kanmaale Zenaibu polled 24 votes to become the Deputy Women Organiser as against Madam Nubaaree Esi who polled 20 votes.
Alhaji Sulemana Amidu, thje Upper West Region Minister, thanked the contestants and the delegates for the orderly and peaceful manner they conducted themselves.
Mr. Puolabong Bayiilela Richard, the newly elected chairman gave thanks to all for a successful election and urged all to get involved in the activities of the party to win 2016 general elections.
