Masahudu Abdulai Nacro
Masahudu Abdulai Nacro, who recently contested for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ejisu Constituency Youth Organiser position, has quit the NDC to join the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

A disgruntled Nacro told DAILY GUIDE that there is no justice and truthfulness in the NDC so he had left the ruling party to join the largest opposition political party, where justice is upheld.

Nacro said he would work at the grassroots to make sure that the NDC's ambition of obtaining one million votes in the Ashanti Region in the 2016 elections becomes a mirage.

He said he had supported the NDC all his life, so he was aware of the 'dirty' tricks that the NDC would use to garner more votes in the Ashanti region, adding that '…I will expose such tricks to the NPP.'

Nacro complained bitterly of victimisation and personal attacks in the NDC, noting that he recently suffered injustice and hatred in the NDC when he contested for the youth organiser position of the NDC at Ejisu.

Narrating his ordeal, he said he campaigned vigorously to topple the incumbent NDC Youth Organiser of Ejisu, Charles Amoateng at the party's recent elections, but added that he was 'frustrated in the end by party gurus.'

According to Nacro, despite wasting his resources and energy to campaign, the regional executives of the party, led by Yaw Obimpeh, the NDC Chairman, did not inform him about the exact date of the polls.

He said he was at his workplace on Wednesday afternoon when someone called and informed him that the polls were ongoing.

Nacro said he rushed to the Wood Village at Akyawkrom near Ejisu, the venue of the elections, but the party delegates had finished casting their ballot by then.

He said the delegates told him that party's gurus from the regional level made them to understand that he (Nacro) had stepped down from the polls so they (delegates) were left with no option than to vote for the incumbent.

Nacro described the NDC as a political party which doesn't reward hard work, adding that he was victimised after making sacrifices for the party.

He blamed Kwaku Boahen and Yaw Obimpeh, the Ashanti Regional NDC Youth Organiser and Chairman respectively for plotting against him in his attempt to become the party's youth organiser at Ejisu.

Nacro said the NDC would regret thwarting his efforts to become the party's youth organiser, stating emphatically that he would ensure the NDC's defeat in the region in the next polls.
