Akwatia NPP Women's Organizer commends polling agents

Women's Organiser for the New Patriotic Party in the Akwatia Constituency of the Eastern Region, Ama Sey has said that the show of commitment, zeal, and vigilance to ensure that the party's interest was protected at the polling stations during the limited voters' registration exercise needs commendation.

This she noted, resulted in the smooth exercise in the constituency without any major hitch, leading to lots of the youth participating in the exercise and getting registered.

The aspiring parliamentary candidate also extolled agents of the party assigned to various registration centres for the good behaviours exhibited throughout the exercise, which took place begun on August 4, and ended on August13, 2014.

Ms. Sey said if elected to represent the ticket of the NPP in Akwatia, she will motivate party officers to work harder to ensure the NPP secures victory in the 2016 elections.

“I want to assure polling station agents and the party people in the constituency that if I am elected as the parliamentary candidate to represent NPP in 2016 polls, I will motivate you to work hard for the party.

“I wish to take this opportunity to also commend the constituency executives and the coordinators of the electoral areas for their vigilance and monitoring of the registration exercise”.

The Women's Organiser however advised party followers including fellow aspirants to eschew campaign of slander, “and rather seek the unity of the party to ensure victory in next general elections”.
