Video: "President Robert Mugabe is a Terrorist" - NDC MP

The Member of Parliament for La Dade Kotopon Constituency Hon. Nii Amasah Namoale has called the chairman of the African Union and the Zimbabwean President Robert Gabriel Mugabe a terrorist.

The NDC MP defending president Mahama's decision in accepting the Gitmo Detainees on ATV's 'Asem Yi Di Ka' show said it is not the first time the country is hosting people of that caliber. Nii Amasah who questioned the credibility of Fox News said some people have already made up their minds not to agree to the president’s decision and so have refused to listen to the president and the foreign ministers or get detailed information concerning the issue.

"We've had so many cases like this in Ghana. The likes of Robert Mugabe from Zimbabwe, Former President of Malawi Dr. Kamuzu Banda, Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa, these are all terrorists that came to Ghana in the early 70s.They were all branded terrorists and Robert Mugabe run for asylum in this country. These are some of the things I'm talking about. It has happen before just that some people don't want to listen" he said.

He said the country gave these people the same surveillance the president is giving the two Gitmo detainees and that it is the country responsibility to give them security 24/7.

He said that any Ghanaian who believe or have evidence that the president has taken money from the American government should come and prove it.

He, therefore, urged Ghanaians to ignore the comments from the NPP flag bearer since it was meant to throw dust into the public eye.
