Dromankese, a town in the Nkoranza North of the Bono Ahafo Region of Ghana will be the venue for a special festival for the great deity, Tigare Bofour from March 21st to 29th, 2015 with a theme " Seeking the help of the Nananom to end Ghana's myriad of challenges including Corruption and Dumsor Dumsor. Under the leadership of Okomfo Appiah, his shrine family are in the final stages of preparation towards a hosting a welcoming festival in the community.

Nana Okomfo Appiah speaking on the phone with our New York media team enthusiastically mentioned that the festival is in honour of his shrine's deities namely Tigare Bofour,Adampan Sumyn, Mframa Bofour, Anfa Enfir Bofour, Mossi Bofour and Tongo Bofour.

According to Nana Okomfo Appiah, activities lined up for the week long festival will include the following:

#. 21st March- Wake-Keeping
#. 22nd March- Carrying of the Gods
#. 23rd March- Akom Day
#. 24th March -Football Match
#. 25th March- Apaso Sacrifice
#. 26th-27th March-Afternoon Akom Celebrations
#.28th March-Wake Keeping
#. 29th March-Final Carrying of the Gods
Nana says that Nana Nyame, the deities and ancestors are always ready to help but people are scared to do that because almost everyone is not honest. He said the only solution to Ghana's current economic hardships is for people to change from being obsessed with corruption and to be honest, humble and truthful.
