I am a journalist. I am from Bangladesh. For my investigative reporting on Islamic militancy, extra judicial killings, minority and indigenous repression, state torture, political terrorism, corruption and women-children torture in TV channel, Radio German DW and the oldest newspaper of Bangladesh the daily Sangbad, I was illegally arrested, brutal tortured and detained for 28 days by army. As a political persecuted journalist, from 29th May, 2009, I am a guest for Hamburg Foundation. I have been working as a journalist as well as human rights defender based in Bangladesh since 1989. But, now I am living in Germany for a scholarship with Hamburg Foundation as a political persecuted journalist. I have completed my B.A (Honours) and M.A degree in Philosophy and Post Graduate Diploma in Civic Journalism in Journalism from Rajshahi University in Bangladesh.

My new book 'Struggle for peace' in English and around 500 pages, hope will be published on October, 2009 about Islamic militancy, extra judicial killings, minority and indigenous repression since independence in Bangladesh.

As a journalist, writer & human rights defender I have been working since 1989. I wrote four books about Islamic militancy, extra judicial killings, and state torture. The books are '15 hours in total Darkness' 'extra judicial killings and Revenge' Militant Godfathers and other issues' and 'From Udichi to Pilkhana'. My new book in English language 'Struggle for Peace' about minority and indigenous oppression, democracy, peace and Islamic militancy, extra judicial killings, state torture will be publish very soon. I worked for Ekushey Television, the Dainik Bangla, the Banglar Bani, The daily Ajker Kagoj, DW-Radio (Bengali service), Associated Press of Bangladesh, first 24 hours news private tV station CSB News. At present I am the Editor of human rights news journal in Bangladesh 'The Human Rights Today'. I have completed B.A (Hons.), M.A in Philosophy from Philosophy department and Post Graduate Diploma in Civic Journalism from Mass Communication and Journalism department of Rajshahi University in Bangladesh.
