The Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), Martin Eson-Benjamin has urged members of metropolitan, municipal and district advisory committees, to work hard to ensure the success of the Millennium Development Account in their localities.
Mr Eson-Benjamin said this when he inaugurated the Effutu Municipal and the Awutu-Senya District Advisory Committees at separate ceremonies at Winneba and Awutu Beraku.
The 31-member committee for the Effutu municipality has Martin Quaison, Municipal Co-ordinating Director as Secretary, while the 31-member Awutu-Senya committee has Kwesi Esserku, the Presiding Member of the District Assembly as Secretary.

He said the committees shall provide regular views or recommendations on the performance and progress of project activities to the MiDA.
He expressed the hope that with the support and advice of members of the committees the Millennium Development Account would make meaningful progress in the two areas.
