Go through the Gate painting

Source: FREDERICK OTCHERE
My name is Frederick Otchere, i m 27 years old, i m an Artist, Anthropologist, a Social Entrepreneur and currently writting a book titled Go through the Gate about my experiences in Africa and the good and evil I see in my culture.

...It is my ambition to inspire people to become great thinkers by stimulating them through art; and through unlocking their minds they would harness the power of their creative thinking to strive for greatness and step into their destiny.

Go through the Gate , is a collection of detailed writtings, to accompany a painting I commissioned from Artist Penny G www.pennyg.com. In this book I attempt to explain the experiences I had in Africa, the real struggle I see between Good and Evil in my culture and deal with themes of loss and suffering in an accessible, moving, and uplifting way. Underlying all of this is the strong Christian message of hope for all.
I am descended from a line of tribal kings and queens, and understanding the ritual and practices to alleviate sickness in a time when there was no knowledge of medicine, and how they fortified there belief in the afterlife, together with my experiences has allowed me to unde rstand the problem with Africa; why Africa is suffering today and what can be done to alleviate this problem.

Originally from Ghana, I now reside in London, and am a member of Club Entrepreneur International. I regularly speak publicly and strongly believe all persecution and ill treatment can be irradicated by spreading the Christian message by using visual expressions of my visions in paintings.

The painting that is 8foot by 5 foot (Go through the Gate) was recently in a community art exhibition expressing Hope through art; I have also recently exhibited at Vue Cinema, which attracted seven thousand people.

I have attached the paintings as well as a booklet from my exhibition and a synopsis of my story.

This story is my testimony that the Lord wanted me to share.
